A 25-year-old man who was killed after a vehicle he was driving crashed on a freeway connector road near Paramount was identified Saturday by county authorities.

The victim, who was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Ajoni Hooks Stuckey, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.

California Highway Patrol officers responded at 1:19 a.m. Friday to the transition road from the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway to the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway where an SUV had flipped onto its roof on the transition road, according to reports from the scene.

The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of the transition road from the 710 Freeway to the 105 Freeway for several hours
