ALEXANDRIA — The monthly meeting of the Prairie Lakes Audubon chapter will feature a presentation on tick and mosquito safety.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on June 10 at Calvary Lutheran Church of Alexandria.

The guest speaker will be Crystal Hoepner, a communications specialist and health educator with over 24 years of public health experience, including 20 years at Horizon Public Health. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health education and has a strong background in developing, promoting, and evaluating wellness and chronic disease prevention programs.

Hoepner is passionate about advancing health equity and uses strategic communication to connect communities with vital health resources.
