A drag performance scheduled for this weekend's Pride festival in Naples, Florida, will be moved indoors, after a federal appeals court on Friday reversed an earlier ruling that had cleared the way for the show to be held outside.

The decision from a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit came one day before the eighth annual Naples Pride Fest, forcing organizers to relocate the drag show to the Norris Center, near Cambier Park.

Drag queens and kings typically cross-dress and exaggerate femininity or masculinity. Drag is a performance dating back hundreds of years and has a long history in the LGBTQ+ community around the world.
