Sunday will bring even hotter temperatures. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Portland-Vancouver area all the way to Hood River for 10 a.m. Sunday until 10 p.m. Monday. Daytime temperatures are expected to be between 92 and 96 degrees.
Saturday will be sunny with a high around 87 degrees in Portland, according to the weather service. The overnight low will be about 61 before things really heat up Sunday.
Sunday and Monday are forecast to be the hottest days of the year so far with highs of about 95 degrees.
