BATAVIA - It took about $170,000 in donations and a little over two months of work, but Crossroads House now has a completely enclosed space from which to view the comfort care home's garden.

"It's a beautiful, covered deck that overlooks our entire garden," Comfort House Executive Director Tracy Ford said before a group assembled to cut the ribbon to formally dedicate the deck. "Then you get to see the beautiful garden and the whole experience."
