A 30-year-old Detroit man was found dead on the eastbound Interstate 96 roadway after striking the left wall of westbound I-96 on a motorcycle near Evergreen Road, police said.

The Detroit Regional Communications Center received numerous 911 calls about a motorcycle down on Friday, June 6, evening, police said. A trooper saw the subject, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
