LUMBERTON — Blake Tyner is a historian, author, and preservationist, with four books and countless articles to his name.
Tyner will speak Sunday at 219 Elm during the “Stories & Sounds Downtown.” Visitors to the event will have the chance to meet Tyner and hear some compelling stories about local history.
As the head of guest services at the Museum of Southeastern American Indians on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Tyner is used to sharing stories about he rich history from the area.
