KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - Indiana State Police are requested to investigate a pursuit that led to an officer-involved shooting.

Preliminary investigation by detectives indicates an officer with the Warsaw Police Department tried to make a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, just after 3:30 a.m.

That attempted traffic stop turned into a short pursuit, which ended near the intersection of S.R. 13 and East C.R. 150 North, when the fleeing driver rammed into a stationary Department SUV.

The officer exited his vehicle after the collision, and the Chevrolet drove a short distance, before turning around and crashing into the same police vehicle again.
