(WHTM) — Former Hershey Bears head coach and current Washington Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery was awarded the NHL's Jack Adams Award.

According to the NHL, Carbery was selected by the NHL Broadcasters' Association as the 2024-25 recipient of the Jack Adams Award as "the NHL coach adjudged to have contributed the most to his team’s success."

The NHL says Carbery received 81 first-place votes among the 103 ballots cast for 464 voting points, followed by Scott Arniel of the Winnipeg Jets and Martin St. Louis of the Montreal Canadiens.
