The Seminole County Fire Department said one person was killed and several others were injured in a fiery car crash on State Road 46 in the Geneva area.

According to the Seminole County Fire Department, the crash involved three vehicles and happened shortly after 9 a.m. near the intersection of SR-46 and West Osceola Road. A Dodge pickup truck, an SUV and a van were involved in the crash.

The Dodge pickup truck caught fire after the crash. The 36-year-old female driver sustained minor injuries.

One person, a 68-year-old man in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another, a 67-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital as a trauma alert, and two others were also transported to the hospital for their injuries.

The drivers of the Dodge pickup and the van refused transport.
