PENDLETON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - A community gathered on Saturday to remember a well-loved man who took pride in taking care of his county.

Robert "Boo" Singleton died in April during the floods after suffering a medical emergency. His body was found near his canoe and it's believed he was about to help someone impacted by the high water.

Singleton was an environmentalist and a member of the Butler Lions Club.
