LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Many students graduating from UA Little Rock walked across the stage welcoming an ending to a chapter in their lives, but Friday was just the beginning for some as they all gathered during orientation.
Students all began by signing their names on a welcome poster, ready to make the school their stomping grounds to learn and grow as individuals.
Alaya Reed says she knew the school is where she wanted to spend her four years.
"It feels like home I've visited other colleges, but it feels like this is where I need to be,” Reed said.
The orientation gave her and other students like Miracle Washington a sense of security, with multiple sessions of upperclassmen comforting them with warm welcomes.
