CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — The Diamond Heels are one win away from a second consecutive trip to the College World Series in Omaha.

North Carolina (46-13), the No. 5 team in the nation, will face off once again against the Arizona Wildcats (42-19) in the second game of the 2025 Chapel Hill Super Regional. First pitch Saturday at Boshamer Stadium is scheduled for 12 p.m.

The Tar Heels drubbed the Wildcats in the first game of the event Friday, winning 18-2. Hunter Stokely had five RBI for the Tar Heels, a tally that included a three-run home run in the first inning. Luke Stevenson also had four runs batted in for UNC.

If the Wildcats win Saturday afternoon, they'll force a winner-take-all rubber match on Sunday. If the Tar Heels win, they'll be the first team to clinch a spot in Omaha.
