Prince Albert RCMP are investigating a suspicious fire believed to be a result of an arson attempt at the provincial firefighting base north of the city.
In a news release on June 6, RCMP said officers were called to the base on June 5 at about 3 p.m. because of the fire.

Police said the blaze was quickly extinguished once police arrived, and there were no injuries and no damage to property.
Police said they found that someone had poured an accelerant on a pile of wood, which started the fire, and then fled the scene on a bicycle.
