FORSYTH, Mo. — A man from Forsyth has been charged with three counts of felony second-degree statutory sodomy after sexually abusing a person over a five-year span.

According to the probable cause statement, Tim Michael Hurst, born 1961, allegedly committed the offenses between Jan. 1, 2019, through March 1, 2025, in Forsyth.

The victim told investigators that the sexual abuse began during the beginning of high school when she was 16 years old.

The victim told law enforcement she felt forced to do sexual acts with Hurst and that he would ask her what items he should purchase for her.

Hurst allegedly told police that he felt like he was having an affair on his wife.

A warrant was issued and served for Hurst's arrest on June 5. He was denied bond, according to court dockets.
