The National Weather Service issued an updated flash flood warning at 8:28 p.m. on Friday in effect until 10:15 p.m. for Clarion County.

"At 8:28 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area, with additional showers possible. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen while later showers could add up to 0.5 inches. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," states the weather service. "Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas."

The warning is for Sligo.
