The Brief

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - SpaceX launched a SiriusXM SXM-10 satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit from Florida in the early hours of Saturday morning.

After several delays, the Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 12:54 a.m.

The Falcon 9 first-stage booster landed aboard SpaceX's drone ship, "A Shortfall of Gravitas," in the Atlantic Ocean, completing its eighth mission.

The rocket’s first stage has flown seven times before, having launched Crew-9, RRT-1, Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1, Fram2 and three Starlink missions.
