CLEVELAND — An Akron man is in custody for fatally stabbing his roommate and wounding his stepfather in after a "domestic fight" escalated early Saturday morning, police say.

Antoine Pixley, 21, was arrested following an "extensive search," according to a news release from the Akron Police Department. He was charged with murder, two counts of felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence, Akron Municipal Court court records show.

Police responded to the 1200 block of Bee Bee Circle just after 1 a.m. after 911 dispatchers reported Pixley had allegedly assaulted his mother and the altercation escalated. Police learned the fight involved a stabbing.
