PHOENIX — A party ended in gunfire in Phoenix early Saturday morning. One person died and two other people were injured in the shooting.
The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened at a party at an apartment complex at around 4:30 a.m. near 40th Street and Camelback Road.
When officers got to the scene, they found 18-year-old Noel Nava with a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital from his injuries, police said. Another person was found at the scene with a gunshot wound but was treated and released, police said. A third person showed up at a nearby hospital with an injury that was "also caused by gunfire," police said.
Detectives believe there is video of the party from before and after the shooting and ask anyone who has video to submit it to a portal by clicking he
