NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing charges after Metro Nashville Police officers reportedly found him in possession of methamphetamine near a fire station, according to an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit states that officers were patrolling at Nashville Fire Station 9 at 601 President Ronald Reagan Way when they noticed a dark colored Jeep parked in a nearby alley.

After about 20 minutes, officers noticed the vehicle was still there, so they approached and spoke with the driver, identified as Jeremy Poole.

When asked why he was there, Poole said he was dumpster diving for his “raccoon friend” at home, according to the affidavit.
