MONROE, Mich. ( WTVG /Gray) - A reported Bigfoot sighting has become the talk of the town in Michigan, even prompting a local cannabis dispensary to offer a discount for evidence of the creature.
The reported sighting took place near Laplaisance Road in Monroe County on May 18, according to the account published by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.
In the account, a 47-year-old man, who was referred to as Edward, said he was bow fishing with his 12-year-old son when they heard rustling in a tree, followed by a “huge thud” of something hitting the ground. Edward said a “big, heavy animal” hit the ground and crouched before starting to move towards him.
His dog then went after the creature, which ran off, according to Edward’s account. He said his dog then chased the creature
