Kassie Mount named principal of Dare Early College

Dare County Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Kassie Mount as principal of Dare Early College, opening in August 2025.

A Dare County native and dedicated educator, Mount brings 16 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to student success. Her leadership in secondary education, combined with her strong community ties, makes her uniquely equipped to lead in the early college environment.
