THOMASTON, Conn. — A driver and passenger were hospitalized after the car they were in crashed on Route 8 North in Thomaston overnight.
State police were called to Route 8 north near Exit 40 around 3:15 a.m. for the crash.
A 2013 Honda Accord was traveling on Route 8 when it hit the guardrail on the right shoulder and then hit a stone wall in the median, state police said.
The driver, a 23-year-old Torrington resident, and his 19-year-old passenger were taken to Waterbury Hospital with injuries, state police said.
