LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A man was arrested after a verbal argument led to shots being fired on Friday evening, June 6, in Livingston Parish.

Deputies said the man, Trevor Borne, 20, is charged with attempted second-degree murder.

Authorities responded to the scene of the shooting on Brown Road in Denham Springs at round 6 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man who had been struck in the ear by a projectile.

The suspect and victim got into a verbal argument just before the shots were fired, detectives said they learned during their investigation. They added that the suspect took off after the shots rang out.
