UNION COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - One person has died and another was injured early Saturday morning when a utility terrain vehicle overturned.

According to the state highway patrol, at around 1:06 a.m. a UTV carrying two people was traveling on Neal Shoals Road when it attempted to turn left onto Happy Valley Road and overturned.

Both riders were taken to the hospital where one later died of their injuries.

The wreck remains under investigation.
