HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KIAH) — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office announced that more than 5,000 felony warrants have been cleared as part of an ongoing crackdown on local violent crime.
The Violent Persons Warrants Task Force, a unified effort between the Sheriff’s Office and other Harris County Constable agencies, is working 24/7 to locate and arrest some of Harris County’s most dangerous fugitives.
“This multi-agency initiative has one clear mission — to make our communities safer,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
