The Carolina Panthers had one of the league's worst defenses last year, and 2024 free agent signee A'Shawn Robinson did not play up to his contract. After losing Derrick Brown for the season in Week 1, Robinson became the top defensive tackle on the depth chart and couldn't live up to those lofty expectations. While he finished with a respectable 80 tackles and 5.5 sacks, his 54.6 PFF grade ranked 77th out of 118 eligible defensive tackles.
Now entering his age-30 season, Carolina added several players in the offseason to fortify the interior and could move on from Robinson after just one season. While he won't fetch the largest return, Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport believes there could be a market for his services, and Carolina should listen to any offers.
