CINCINNATI —

Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting that took place in West Price Hill Friday evening.

Police say that a 16-year-old girl was shot at approximately 6:32 p.m. at a home on the 1000 block of Rutledge Avenue. Advertisement

The girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, the incident is being investigated as an accidental shooting.

Police did not elaborate on the circumstances that led up to the girl being shot and who they suspect to have shot her.

Cincinnati police say the investigation remains ongoing.
