LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A 30-year-old Lincolnton man is in jail after firing shots at two houses in his neighborhood on Saturday, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's office.

Zackery Ryan Gardner shot at his neighbors' homes from inside his own house on English Oak Drive, according to deputies. The shooting happened Saturday around the 3800 block of the street.

Gardner fired the shots through his front and side doors, aiming at two different houses nearby, officials said. Both houses had people inside when the shooting happened.

At least one of the neighbor's homes was hit multiple times by the gunfire. No one was hurt.

Lincoln County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gardner at the scene.
