LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Two-time NCAA All-American and former national champion AJ Ferrari is joining the Nebraska wrestling team, head coach Mark Manning announced via a release Saturday.

Ferrari, who owns a 51-2 career record, is transferring to Lincoln as a redshirt junior with two years of eligibility remaining.

“We’re excited about AJ joining our family here at Nebraska,” Manning said in a statement. “This decision was made collaboratively with our coaching staff and administration. AJ’s track record speaks to his work ethic and competitive spirit — qualities that fit the culture of our program. We believe he brings great value to our team.”
