ST. LOUIS – Amid a flurry of roster moves to fortify their bullpen with veteran arms on Saturday morning, the Dodgers placed right-hander Tony Gonsolin on the 15-day injured list with right elbow discomfort.

Righties Michael Kopech (60-day) and Kirby Yates (15-day) were activated from the IL, while righty Chris Stratton was designated for assignment.

Gonsolin missed the first 30 games of this season while recovering from Tommy John surgery in September 2023, and had since established himself as one of the reliable members of a Dodgers rotation which has been fraught with injury concerns all season long. He is 3-2 with a 5.00 ERA in seven starts (36 innings) this season, and struck out six over five innings in his most recent start against the Mets on Wednesday.
