Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers have received a crucial update regarding Aaron Rodgers’ physical condition. Despite signing late in the offseason, a report from Jeremy Fowler confirms that he is in good shape.
“Really, they’re pumped now because they feel like Rodgers has remained in good shape despite being away from the team. They knew he had this personal matter he was dealing with. That was a big part of why this took a long time. The Steelers were giving him grace, respect and time to figure all that out. It looks like now he’s ready for football.”
This Saturday, Aaron Rodgers arrived in Pittsburgh to sign his contract and meet with general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin. Starting next Tuesday, the veteran will be at the team’s mandatory minicamp.
