The Woodland Public Library launched the Reading Dragons, an exciting new summer reading program designed to ignite imaginations, build literacy skills and bring the community together through reading, creativity and adventure.

Starting Monday, June 9, patrons of all ages can sign up for Reading Dragons on the Woodland Public Library Bookmobile. Participants will track their reading progress all summer long and earn exclusive dragon trading cards. The more you read, the more dragons you collect.

The $650,000 customized mobile library was revealed in late January at the Woodland Public Library. In addition to reading and audio material, the Bookmobile features a large outside video screen for movies and gaming. It also has free Wi-Fi. The inside is designed to be “fun” and features multi-
