One closure is for asphalt resurfacing, while the other is for storm sewer repairs.

FARGO, N.D. – There are a couple of lane closures commuters should know about so they can prepare for their commute in Fargo next week.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, both eastbound and westbound lanes of 1st Avenue North will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction between 36th Street North and 29th Street North. The lane closures will allow for asphalt surface repairs to be completed.

The road is expected to fully reopen by the end of the day Friday, June 13.

Then, also beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, the northbound lanes of 45th Street South will be reduced to two lanes of traffic between 13th Avenue South and 11th Avenue South.
