VALPARAISO — The Center of Workforce Innovations has announced it was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to support adult literacy.

CWI will use the funding to offer Fast Track to HSE, a program which allows individuals to earn their high school equivalency diploma within three days of learning at no cost.

The first Fast Track to HSE session will begin on June 9 at the Crown Point Community Library. The program is set to be offered across Northwest Indiana throughout the rest of the year.
