CINCINNATI (WXIX)—City leaders and event organizers are continuing to empower the youth and keep them engaged in an effort to reduce violence this summer.
Drawing from his own experiences, Sergeant Anthony Mitchell founded The Rising Star Youth Bowling Program at Madison Bowl.
“I actually grew up right down the street, and one thing that kept me out of trouble was bowling. I was introduced to that at an early age,” Sgt. Mitchell said.
Sergeant Mitchell says that keeping children and teenagers busy this summer is key to keeping them active and preoccupied.
