Friday, June 6 was a landmark day for college sports. Judge Claudia Wilken approved the House vs. NCAA settlement , allowing schools to share revenue directly with athletes for the first time.
In a statement on Saturday afternoon, Auburn athletic director John Cohen confirmed that Auburn will fully participate in paying athletes,
“Auburn is fully funding revenue sharing, a $20.5 million investment,” the statement read. “Auburn will also allocate 113.8 additional scholarships year-over-year, at a projected cost of $5.49 million.”
