A Great British Bake Off star has revealed their popular cooking show was dropped by BBC after 10 years.

The Channel 4 baking programme, which originally aired on the BBC, has seen its stars land a number of their own shows.

This past few years alone has seen the premieres of Prue Leith's Cotswold Kitchen, Paul Hollywood Eats Mexico and Mary Makes Christmas , a 2024 Mary Berry special.

Away from the programme’s judges, both current and old, one of the show’s most successful contestants is Nadiya Hussain.

After winning The Great British Bake Off in 2015, the 40-year-old has gone to present a number of TV shows with the BBC.
