CHELAN COUNTY, Wash.–Three community town halls in Chelan County will focus on navigating grief and loss well as how to talk to children about death.

The town halls will offer guidance from mental health professionals, resources and open discussions, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. Other topics offered include how children process grief and how to support families through loss.

The events will be held Monday at the Leavenworth City Hall, Tuesday at the Chelan Fire Station 7 and Wednesday at East Wenatchee City Hall, according to CCSO. Each town hall will be from 6:30–7:30 p.m.
