The 2025 Wings and Wheels car and airplane show took place at the Bert Mooney Airport on a cloudy, but amicable, Saturday on June 7.

As of noon, event organizers estimated attendance at around 1,200, and Walt McIntosh, also an event organizer, predicted record attendance.

At least 150 vehicles were registered for show, along with around a dozen airplanes including the C-47 "Miss Montana," a P-63 King Cobra previously owned by NASA astronaut Frank Borman, and a P-51 Mustang with Butte's 2nd Lt. Holsey C. Johnson's name painted next to the cockpit of the plane.

The event was free to enter, but donations received will benefit the Butte Civil Air Patrol.
