CINCINNATI -- In the continuation of Friday's suspended game, the Reds pulled out a 4-3 walk-off victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday afternoon on Christian Encarnacion-Strand 's game-winning double in the 10th inning at Great American Ball Park.
Encarnacion-Strand also had the game-tying homer in the sixth inning on Friday -- all in his first game back from the injured list .
It was a 3-3 game when play resumed in the top of the seventh inning after rain forced its suspension on Friday. The score remained deadlocked into the 10th when Encarnacion-Strand scorched a liner to center field off reliever Ryan Thompson. Alek Thomas struggled to play it and the ball got by him and to the wall as pinch-runner Jake Fraley scored the go-ahead run.
