An investigation into a claim made against longtime Minisink Valley softball coach Bruce Guyette by a parent of a player did not rise to the level of a Title IX complaint.
However, the district is continuing a Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) investigation into Guyette, the second all-time winningest softball coach in state history (647 wins). It was not immediately clear what the administration is reviewing in the DASA probe and how long the investigation will take. Sources said that the DASA investigation is a result of complaints made by the same parent and his family.
