“Salukis on Swift” authors to hold signing at Confluence Books

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - A group of writers at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale will be holding a signing event later this month.

The story? A creative nonfiction called, “Salukis on Swift: The Anthology.”

This work, focusing on popstar Taylor Swift, contains seven essays by current and former SIU students and faculty.

The seven authors come from different backgrounds and experiences, but all found something that spoke to them in Taylor Swift’s musical catalog and inspired them to share their responses in writing.

They will celebrate the book’s publication with a public reading at Confluence Books, located at 705 W. Main Street in Carbondale, Ill. on Sunday, June 22 at 2 p.m. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
