KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

The Kansas City Police Department needs help finding out what led up to a deadly shooting north of the Missouri River.

Officers were called to NE 37th Street around 11:10 a.m. Saturday. While they were on the way, officers were told the shooting victim was dropped off at a hospital by a private vehicle. He later died from his injuries. Advertisement

Officers found evidence that a shooting likely happened inside an apartment building on NE 37th Street.

Detectives are talking with witnesses.
