Since the Upper East Side institution reopened in April after four years of renovations, guests have been enjoying refurbished reading rooms, the new 220-seat Stephen A. Schwarzman Auditorium, and over 1,800 pieces of work. Wandering through such extensive offerings is bound to make any museum-goer work up an appetite.
The opulent new 50-seat eatery from Selldorf Architects — named in honor of the private Pullman train car the Frick family used beginning in 1911 — received a design overhaul by Bryan O’Sullivan Studio (BOSS) and a bespoke mural by Darren Waterston .
