More than 200 immigrant families and supporters from across Northern California began a three-day march in Vacaville on Saturday, calling for a path to citizenship and an end to deportations.

Organized by the Northern California Coalition for Just Immigration Reform (NCCJIR), the march kicked off at Andrews Park at 8 a.m. and proceeded east along Monte Vista Avenue, with participants chanting “Sí se puede” (“Yes, we can”) and “Stop the deportations!” as they made their way toward Sacramento.

“This is the third annual walk,” said Renee Saucedo, one of the event’s organizers. “But this year has particularly special meaning and urgency due to the Trump administration’s policies.”
