GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A restaurant nestled on Cherry Street in the East Hills neighborhood of Grand Rapids has been nominated as one of the best farm-to-table restaurants in the country by Newsweek magazine.
Grove , owned by Essence Restaurant Group, is one of only 15 restaurants in the United States to be recognized by a panel of six judges for its "commitment to seasonal, sustainable and locally sourced cuisine."
According to its website, Grove's menu is prepared with ingredients from family farms and sustainable providers. The selections follow the Midwest farming seasons so the restaurant can offer the freshest cuisine to its guests.
Grove offers guests a variety of different ways to dine, including the "Tasting for Two" option for two people to share a multi-course meal, or "The G
