KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) -- A motorhome fire on I-15 in Kaysville caused the freeway to temporarily close down in both directions.

According to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), a pickup truck was hauling a camper on a trailer traveling southbound on I-15. Around mile marker 326, the driver pulled over after he noticed smoke coming from the camper trailer.

Due to on-board propane tanks, the fire began to engulf both vehicles. UHP closed down both directions of traffic temporarily due to the risk of the fire spreading, but lanes have since reopened as crews work to remove debris.
