OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - John Ewing is set to be inaugurated as Omaha’s next Mayor as part of Monday’s City Council Meeting.
In a release sent Friday, the City of Omaha says the ceremony is set for Monday, June 9, at 7:30 p.m.
The event, in addition to the swearing-in of all 7 City Council members, will take place in the legislative chambers of the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center.
Following the inauguration, a reception will follow.
Doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. The City will be offering free parking at the civic center’s parking garage.
All attendees will be screened for security, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
