It wasn’t the 19-0 drubbing of last week. Heck, there were two FC Tucson players that scored as many as the whole team scored at Kino North Stadium on Friday night against Southern California club AMSG. Still, the 4-0 win was emphatic and keeps the local soccer side atop the Southwest Division table.

FC Tucson’s scoring opened early with a 22nd minute strike from Filip Arras, a Norwegian wing back.

Paul Caliari had been very active in FC Tucson’s attack, which opened him up to some rough play by AMSG’s defenders. He managed to make his way into the box and got taken down by AMSG’s Vincent López in minute 25. Alexis Ledoux stepped up to take the penalty and scored.
